Special Note: First off, prior to advancing on this site, please see Parental Rights. Government is working an all out assault against the family, specifically the children. The same people who fund and advocate the woman's right to murder her unborn child are wanting to push through legislation to "protect the child". The hypocrisy is only matched by that of the Pharisees. So that everyone understands, that those who seek the life of the innocent and defenseless are looking out for best interest of the same. Yeah, right. The reality is, those children who escape their scalpels, lethal injections and spikes, continue to be hunted down by other means.
The devious insult us by contending that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child does not affect the laws of the United States regarding the parental prerogative. Well, if the convention does not change the legal status of parental guardianship, why seek to make it law of the land, for it does not change anything? The treaty is not a guideline or promotional material, but a legal instrument. Basically, it turns parents into dormitory observers, should the State so desire. Has the State ever looked out for the best interest of children, the same State that funds the killing of the unborn? Preposterous.
One wonders if this is the reason Obama is portrayed as the quintessential family man. Of course he stands for the rights of children! Let me see if I understand this. This same Obama, the one who's first order of business was to wage war on the Mexicans by funding abortion clinics in that nation with US tax payer funds. The same one who lied about campaign finance, but promises to fix our financial mess, created by the central bank. Who installs those who created the financial mess to fix it, oops, I mean funnel the bail out funds into their own pockets. The same Obama who was unwilling to disclose who funded his campaign, but now promised to be the most transparent administration in history in terms of finances. I don't buy a second of this so-called "family man". You should not either. On the day he "aborts" his own children will I believe his sincerity. He should prove his talk by his actions. Whatsoever he believes is good, shall he do unto his own home first before doing to us.
The UN Convention is set up so that the child makes its on decisions: (1) education, (2) punishment, (3) access to information, (4) friends, (4) what they do with their time, etc. The parents have no control over their children. So parents, who have the right to kill them, do not have the right to decide the above. Taking this further to the foundational premis, children have no obligation to obey their parents.
But this is an explicitly stated command for children: Deuteronomy 32:46 he said to them, Take to heart all the words of my testimony against you today, so that you can use them in charging your children to be careful to obey all the words of this Torah. Ephesians 6:1-3 Children, what you should do in union with the Lord is obey your parents, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" ? this is the first commandment that embodies a promise ? "so that it may go well with you, and you may live long in the Land." Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in everything; for this pleases the Lord. 1 Timothy 3:4-5 He must manage his own household well, having children who obey him with all proper respect; for if a man can't manage his own household, how will he be able to care for God's Messianic Community Children are not capable of making good choices. This is the reason they should obey those with more experience.
Taking the hypocrisy further, children are NOT to obey parents, but parents are to not only obey the government, but also the children! The children are NOT to submit to the God ordained authority of the parents, but the parents are to submit to the wishes of the children in submission to the government! Not much experience in family life is required to know where this leads: death for the parents and death for the children. This convention is full court press to anhilate the family unit, seeking to destroy the current and future generations.
Note accurately that there exist no, none, zero rights of the parents! So the ones who brought the child to live and existence have no say in his or her upbringing? However, in an unprecedented show of arogance and bogus compassion, a few bureaucrats sitting six time zones away not even holding an American Citizenship, who's own children behave like who knows what, not knowing who I am or who my child is, want to impress upon me at the point of a gun how I should raise my children? No person with common sense would consider the advice of a boastful neighbor intruding into the private afairs of the family, especially those who have no fruit of their own. Let us see the behavior of the children of the bureaucrats to test whether they know how to run a family or not! Even those who are calous and anti-biblical in their world view must be smart enough to know what their own household will be like if children are "protected" from tough love.
Consider three things you would like your children to do, be and achieve. Imagine your child saying, "Don't feel like it". Consider this child calling the parent police to have you separated from the him or herself and you jailed and fined, because a bureaucrate in Europe is "protecting" the "best interests" of the child. Imagine for a moment a neigbor who has it out for you; calling the parent police in an act of revenge. Even assuming you had done no wrong, think about what turmoil would occur in the family if, "just in case", the parents were taken into custody with no evidence of abuse whatsoever and the child was wisked away to who know where to be attended to by a government nanny. This is what the UN Convention means to you.
I have had person experience with this attack on parental position as child rearer. Without going into detail, my child was encouraged to "do what she wanted without consequences" for about three weeks. We were not allowed to demand obedience from the children, but we were commanded to submit to the others! The hypocrisy of it it all. It took a full six months to get the child somewhere near back to where she was prior to that experience. A loving little girl turned into an absolute selfish monster for six months inside of three weeks. The hell that will be unleased by the anti-godly wordly "international norms" is difficult to describe. The family unit will simply fail to function. The UN Convention has planned it this way, make no mistake about it. They are mischievous and conniving, not stupid. Malicious liars is what they are. Child will turn against parent, and parent against child. It will get ugly.
The goals of international norms, tolerance and child rights: Matthew 10:21-22 A brother will betray his brother to death, and a father his child; children will turn against their parents and have them put to death. Everyone will hate you because of me, but whoever holds out till the end will be preserved from harm. Luke 12:52-56 "For from now on, a household of five will be divided, three against two, two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." Then to the crowds Yeshua said, "When you see a cloud-bank rising in the west, at once you say that a rainstorm is coming; and when the wind is from the south, you say there will be a heat wave, and there is. Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky ? how is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time?"
Judges have the audacity to claim that since parents have no expressed right to raise their children in law, the government must then have the right. What? Where do I read in the constitution that the government as the duty, much less the right to raise my children!? Is it not common sense and natural that parents raise their children!? So parents are supposed to be reduced to "children factories" and providers of the basic necessities of the continuation of physical existence. The government does the rest, presumably to turn them into non-thinking slaves of the state. Children like this are much more malleable to be manipulated by government to do crazy things like wage useless wars and the like.
I find parents who live according to the UN Convention. They allow their children much "freedom" to "develop their own nature" in the name of "self discovery". This is a recipe for disaster. Their houses are chaos and hell rolled up into one. The UN is well aware of this. Children brought up like this are basically arrogant tyrants, for this is the human nature, which comes out unabated if not trained by loving parents. The tyrant comment is not mean, just an observation. We don't need international norms, we need truth.
The UN Convention is a true weapon of mass destruction. It excites the spirit of rebellion to rise up and destroy. The advocates of this convention have much blood on their hands. We live in a world that is hell-bent on killing our children. Take away the parent's influence, and children are fair game for picking off like ducks in the pond. The UN has our children in their cross-hairs and the finger on the trigger.
